Folks, It is very important to write a good number of GMAT mock exams prior to the final exam day. As there are various factors besides knowing the GMAT content to score high at the GMAT exam. Some of the crucial factors which decide your performance at the GMAT exam are, time management while doing questions at GMAT exam, stress management and ability to cope up with the pressure of the exam and ability to being calm while reading and solving the questions and last but not least is able to sit for so long during the exam and doing different sections at stretch. It is very important to manage time effectively to solve the questions as on an average one is getting approximately 2 mins for each question at the Quantitative and verbal section. However, equal allocation of time for each and every question may not be the good strategy. It is always recommended that some of the questions one should always be able to complete within one minute each as there are always certain questions which may take you around 3 mins each. Hence to able to complete all the questions within time this strategy is very helpful. Also, one should keep a check on time after every few questions with that candidate be able to control his speed. One should always keep some cutoff time for solving each question as without which one will get into the time loop which may take the opportunity cost of solving more than one question.
Doing enough number of mock GMAT exams also help candidate being able to cope up with the pressure and stress during the exam as stress management is very important during the exam to be able to perform at your fullest potential. Building stamina to be able to sit for so long and doing different sections at stretch is another key skill which one can rehearse through by doing enough number of mock exams prior to the final exam day.
